You can take an old pair of jeans and turn them into shorts with an appliqué or you can simply distress them. My first photoshoot was strictly supposed to showcase my upcycled designs but it turned into so much more. I discovered I had a real knack for putting people in outfits they felt really comfortable in. My models in this shoot are some of my closest friends (thanks again ladies! Love you!) My photographer was one of their sisters. This was around the time when she just started taking pictures and she has grown so much since then (check out her photography page on Instagram @s.hernandezphotog).
